I think the confusion happened here: He thought that he had not taken into account the starting four points, while when I was trying to help him out, he (I presume) did not notice that I did take that into consideration. Also, while we (or I) have your attention, do I need to take a certain trait for a Tercio-style army, or could I just say when I ask for rolls: "Could I have some Pikemen and Cavalry added to my army", knowing fully that such a request will reduce the number of my musket-clad soldiers?
Even so, taking into account the starting 4, his points equaled -4. I understand that happening and so apologise for the manner of my point however my point stands. The rolls are void and new ones will have to be made. Thank you for apologising though @UltikanaRe, I shall make re rolls soon because the fact is that there were extra positives in there, I would do the same for any situation that meant a change in traits, no matter how small. Population I will keep the same however as that is quite an appropriate pop and traits have little effect on it. Thats more about your description. Only just got up. In regards to taking outdated army, normally you would get arquebusiers and a few musket armed men however if you would prefer I can replace some of the musket armed men with pikes. So you get a mix of pikes, muskets and arquebusiers. Cav I am leaving out for know as it is just another thing to work out. And I am short on time as it is.
