I've been told that my neutral face either looks like someone shot my dog or like I'm going to shoot someone's dog. I have a friend whose neutral face looks like she is so unbelievably bored by things that a car could explode and she wouldn't raise an eyebrow. What about your neutral face?

Mine isn't so bad as all that, but my lower lip is full and has a slight-downward tilt to the corners so when I'm wearing a neutral face I look slightly pensive. I am soooooo sick of people asking if I'm alright or "what's the matter?"

My problem is that I don't have a resting/neutral face. If I'm not thinking about my face, it's a freeze-frame of a chaotic configuration of clenched and unclenched muscles. Like if I had to squint an eye because someone's watch reflected a sunbeam into my face, there's a good chance I'll be slightly squinting 15 min later. But that's the best case scenario -- that I'm simply unaware of my face. The losing battle comes when I become self-aware of my face. I'll be walking to work and I'll suddenly recall a Tony Robbins quote about how you should always wear a slight smile. You know, brighten up my day and everyone's that sees me just like Tony says. So I'll try to apply that morsel of advice to my own face. Clenching the right muscles to approximate someone that smiles naturally as they walk down the street. Clench and hold. 10 min later I do a clench-check. Am I still smiling? Too small of a smile? Too large? I realize that I'm actually frowning now and my left eye is squinting again, muscle memory from the watch reflection 5 hours ago.

Even when my face is neutral I still have a slight smile that I can't get rid of unless I'm upset (it makes it a pain if I'm trying not to show that I'm in a bad mood). I've been called out as a fake before because someone said that I can't have a smile all the time and pretend to always be happy. I think he still doesn't understand that I'm not faking it and that I naturally have a smile.

I have the exact opposite, my neutral face is just a slight frown.

Tired, usually. I have a very expressive face, which tends to display precisely what I'm feeling, whether I want it to or not. Generally, I'm feeling awesome, or funny, or at least amused by something. When I'm truly 'neutral' it's because at that moment, I'm not actively thinking about anything really -- so everything droops a bit. Especially my eyes -- naturally a little droopy, but they perk up anytime I'm doing anything. If I'm really idle though, the lights kinda go out a bit. Also I've got like a gigantic lower lip -- I bit through it when I was little and it's almost like the swelling never went all the way down. So if I'm not making some other face, it just sorta weighs down my whole face. But again -- I'm, like, always making some other face. I don't even think about doing it, it just happens. My drama club teacher used to think I was getting into character when I read lines -- I wasn't, on purpose, my face just does that shit. Right now, while I'm typing, I'm making expressions like we were having a conversation.

Basically like an old bust/portrait, for the most part stoic unless I'm thinking about something.

I have chronic bitch face. I've had multiple friends inform me that I sneer and look slightly murderous when I zone out. But it keeps people from talking to me on the bus, so I'm not particularly bothered.

According to some of my friends, my "resting face" just makes me look lost and slightly dazed. I already look kind of young for my age, so when I'm just walking around and not really thinking about anything, I apparently look sort of like a lost child.

To be fair, I have a really terrible sense of direction, so a lot of the time, I really am lost.

My neutral face looks... *stares into mirror* ... *staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaares into mirror...*

Neutral. Not angry, not tired, not anything else. If anything, it looks like I am intently focused on what's in front of me, but that might be because I'm focusing on myself trying to hold a neutral expression in the mirror. *disappointed*

Everyone in my family has a "RBF" That means "Resting Bit*h Face"

I apparently have one of the worst because I zone out a lot and stare off into space. Any pictures taken of us when we are not aware show our RBF to its fullest.
