Bio: Originally born in Britain, Scarlet’s parents died when she was young, leaving her in the care of her aunt. Her aunt is old-fashioned and wants Scarlet to marry well and keep up the reputation and social standing of the Dane family. When Scarlet developed her powers a few years ago, her aunt started sending her away to different schools for the gifted, trying to “fix” her. Scarlet is not interested in maintaining the social standing of the family or hiding or getting rid of her powers like her aunt wants, leading them to have had several fights over the last few years.
