[b]Personality:[/b] Emily is a practical person, one who prefers to deal with facts and conclusions based on known information rather than grasping at straws and wild conjectures. She is a realist above most anything else, and her casual way of not caring immediately about people other than those she knows hasn't won her a huge number of associates; if it wasn't for her intellect she doubts anyone would bother approaching her. Even still, her manner of speaking - as if she's the smartest person in a room full of idiots - comes off as condescending more often than not. Her interest in the murders is purely based on the fact that she has been approached to help with the case, after all she has no connection as of yet to any of the victims - better them than her. Though she hates to admit it, since that delves into the realm of the 'unreal', she often wishes she could commune with spirits as the medium does, if only to get things done in a quicker, more efficient manner. 

Even when she's not assisting in cases, Emily engages in mental games, namely chess or maths based games involving number patterns. She's not especially great at chess, though, to her great shame.
