Excellent first post. You seem to have the character of the Earl nailed down perfectly too -- a man trying a little too hard to be a noble, no? Mental indeed. I'll try to post something today.

It was lovely, as always! Such a foreboding, but genial man, that earl! The servants have already been quite entertaining to watch, too. I decided to make up some profiles for the dinner guests (I'll probably put some up for the servants I bring up later, too) to help me add more to the scene, too. You're free to use those profile for your own benefit if you'd like to take control of any of the guests during your posts.

At this point, I think it might be fun for the earl come to visit her. Maybe throw in a thunderstorm or two. It'd give them a chance to go over the contract under the pretense of him making sure she's alright after claiming sickness.

Apologies, I've been swamped with work. How did you envision the visit? Does the earl show up unexpectedly?

:P Take it easy, dewd- I imagine it would be unexpected for full effect, but any way he goes about it would be fun.
