She laughed softly at the melodramatic comment. "He's an idiot, but a powerful idiot. Theo, I mean. Alistair seems... different to say the least. Well, anyway, it's not far. It's right over ther-" She looked at the drug store she once past without a second glance with a shocked expression: it was completely destroyed. The windows were shattered inwardly and the shelves littered the floor along with its supplies. There was a body pinned to the wall that faced the window and writing, but by the distance they had to it she couldn't read it. Adelisa's heart dropped to her stomache and she started walking faster. She wanted to scream, she wanted to yell out for help, but there was no helping this situation. She noticed how the body of the store clerk was positioned and it only hurt worse. He had one hand on his stomach and another covering his mouth. His eyes were wide open and his legs were spread apart, blood coming from his... spread legs. Adelisa paled at the sight and her memories came back to her as did the feeling of dread. She sped faster toward the disaster and could clearly read the writing on the wall: it said the words "you are mine". She ran too fast, tripping on her own foot and falling on the glass. The little boy nodded his shaky head and Theo grinned maliciously. "Perfect" he said before looking the little boy in the eyes. "You will be something great, Jeremy. Something powerful and magnificent. Just stay with me, child, and you will be great." Jeremy nodded and scurried off with a small smile. Everyone admired him, but they hadn't known the monster he truly was.
