Amber gratefully entered the den and lay beside Misty. She paused for a moment. She wasn't sure how to go about confessing her mistake like this. Amber groaned and rested her head on the bare ground. "I'm such an idiot!" After a moment, she finally took a deep breath and launched into the story. She explained how she felt about her recent hunting failures. She explained her plan and how she had run away from the pack. She explained everything.

"-And then that's when Renzo found me and brought me back to the clearing," She said, finishing up the story. Amber quickly glanced at Misty to see her reaction. Amber wasn't sure how Misty was going to react. She mentally braced her self in-case Misty grew to be furious with her.
