The five dracons arrived downstairs. Vespion looked around, carefully seeing if there were any constructs. Satisfied that this section was clear, he went over to a certain piece of ceramic pottery, interested in it for reasons Larek didn't quite get. 

"What is so interesting about an old pot?" 

"This 'old pot' is part of your history, Larek. It depicts a scene on the side of it, showing the creation of the first dracons. Look, you can see the cauldron the mages used, and the first of our kind rising from it."

"I'm sure he wants to spend time with me. I mean, he seems much happier when he gets home than when he goes off to the fields and the like. Still, I'm also certain he'd work hard anyway. Tran's always been good at what he does."

"Well, we still have that gate stone. It should be all charged, I think" Kos replied. "Shall we go now?"

Veax practiced a few more notes, and after a while, set it down. "I think that's enough of that for now. I'd like to relax. In fact, Hermy... if you don't mind, could you scratch my back? I'd be more than happy to return the favor."
