Palace of the Mind

Aghenus Óg
As many times as he walked into the throne room, Targaryan couldn’t stop the beauty from taking his breath away. The vaulted ceiling and the walls of polished Ferrarus embedded with jewels reflected and refracted the light casting it into every corner of the room forever lighting it without needing artificial lighting. Additionally, the room boosted any psychic powers used to allow for even the weakest psykers to be able to fluidly communicate in order that there is no eavesdropping on discussions of highest secrecy. At the far end of the room there was a raised dais. On top of this sat a brilliant throne made of solid gold adorned with rubies, emeralds and sapphires. On this throne sat the emperor of the Hallböurg. He was tall, even for his kind, topping out at 8.5 feet tall. He sat comfortably on the throne with a simple circlet adorning his head to signify his rank. He was deep in meditation as Targaryan approached and knelt at the ground in front of his emperor. For short while the Emperor ignored him but then, without opening his eyes or moving his mouth, asked “What news do you bring me my faithful aide?” “General Icarus send word from the front. Planet SA-03 has been taken by our forces and renamed Druidia.” “A fine name. That leaves one planet remaining in sector Z correct?” “Yes Your Grace, but t houses many of the refugees from the other worlds we have retaken from the Serapidids. The General does not expect is to fall easily.” “Very well. Tell the general to extend the promise of sanctuary and habitation to these people if they surrender peacefully.” “Of course Your Grace.” The Emperor finally opened his eyes and breathed a sigh of relief. He then said, “One more planet and this disgusting war will be over. You are dismissed Targaryan. I must speak to the gods of our success.” “Yes Your Grace.” He turned and started walking toward the door. When he was I the door way he looked back at his Emperor. He had stood up from the throne, removed the circlet fro his head and was concentrating on merging with Conciseness, the force that allowed the most powerful of the Hallböurg to instantly teleport themselves to any location within a long range.. As he watched, the Emperor dissolved into nothingness. Targaryan was not worried, he knew that he would be where he wanted to be. The Temple of the Acscended.
In orbit over SA-04
A General Icarus received the message from the Emperor, he sent a message down to the planet below him. “Attention people of SA-04. We truly want no fight with you. If you surrender to us unconditionally, We promise to give you sanctuary and Habitation with no harm coming to either of us.” When the reply finally came back, it was curiously harsh. “We will never surrender to you you weak useless creatures. Come down here and give us a glorious fight.” The general turned to his aide. “Ready the troops but do not send them yet. I fear a trap.”
