Ris looked back up at Ryuu. His clothes were going to be dirty so he might as well wash them soon. He did remember that she had come from the kitchen. 

"Did you forget anything inside the kitchen? You did come running out of there."

Maybe she forgot her food or something, but he was starting to get hungry. He had not eaten today, because he had become entranced by the novel he had been reading about. He might just treat himself to one of the donuts he always hides in there.
