Rebound nodded and said, "Sure. Uh, the cafeteria is this way." He turned down a hallway, passing several other rooms, some with students hanging out, and some that were empty. He looked sideways at Mia as she asked about the school. "Yeah, this is a school for those who have some sort of special ability or another." However, when she said something about how she thought that stuff was only in movies and books, he stopped. He frowned at her and said, "You're kidding, right? You mean you forgot that even?" He sighed, shaking his head. "You do know that you're one of those kids too, right? There's a reason you forget everything every few weeks you know." He looked thoughtful for a long moment, then he said, "You know, if you want, I can show you what I mean." He faced her then, putting his arms behind his back and he looked her in the eye, his face serious. "Try to hit me. Hit me as hard as you can. Several times, even. Don't worry, it won't hurt me, and it won't hurt you either." He let the smallest smirk grace his face. He liked showing off his powers, though, the list of people he was comfortable doing that around was very small. Mia happened to be on the list. He pointed to his stomach and repeated, "Come on, take a swing at me. Aim right here, as hard as you can."
