He was in very good shape indeed, just like Grey's younger self. Soon Grey manages to restore and purify the whole town, including the guild hall in which they were in now. The Winter Spirit was astounded by the powers Grey is using now! He had never known that he was able to use The Arc Of Time! And he is very grateful for Grey and Erza to come by just in time. After Grey announces his presence, via thought projection, Kuro slowly walks towards the legendary mage, slightly shaking, and brings his hand out.

"Name's Kuroku Nagasai," he says to him as calm as he could, "S-Class Madoushi of Lunar Wolf sir. It is an honor to finally meet you after so long."
