Brief bio: Ever since she was old enough her father had taken her hunting at least once every hunting season, to make his son into a man. He taught her how to hunt, how to process their kills, how to set up blinds and tree stands. When she was ten her entire family was killed while on the way to the hospital where she spent the previous night after having her appendix removed. After a brief period as a ward of the state she was adopted by a family that understood her needs. She transitioned to living as a female full time just before high school. In college she met Thomas Gladstone. They started Gladstone Survival and Surplus after college. She ran the business side of the company, collections, accounting, paying the bills. The only thing they did together was hunting for the meat sold in the store. After Thomas finished his master piece, a custom built survival shelter deep in the woods she moved in with him and married shortly after.

Brief bio: He was physically abused as a young child by his drunkard of a father. He ran away when he was twelve. He hooked up with survivalists preparing for the end of the world. In college he met Josephine Bennett. They started Gladstone Survival and Surplus after college. He ran the customer service side of the company, selling, building custom shelters, training, education. The only thing they did together was hunting for the meat sold in the store. After he finished his master piece, a custom built survival shelter deep in the woods Jo moved in with him and married shortly after.
