Name of nation: The Empire of the Frozen Star Species: Eeda: The Eeda are lanky blue humanoids of roughly human height that lay eggs. What is perhaps most unique about their biology is the liquid nitrogen circulatory system that coincides with a more human-like system, in the context of their own reality this sort of cold-system was used to store nutrients for extended periods, and to protect against the grotesque “heat” generated by their dimensions spacial void. Heat and cold exist in inverse quantities in their original dimension, and any life on almost all the the worlds in the system had to evolve systems to deal with the extreme heat at night… but this did not negate the need for heat in metabolic processes. At the core of Eeda biology is a warm system that reaches 70 degrees in the center most parts of their body, but they are completely encapsulated with a cold shell that rarely gets above 40 degrees. Their liquid nitrogen system existing closer to the surface of their bodies, to insulate the more delicate parts of their body from being cooked by extreme heat. Much in the same way blubber and fur works with mammals, only a protection against an opposite force. As a result of these contradicting bodily temperatures, the Eeda constantly breath steam as humans do in cold weather. Description of government: An Absolute Monarchy Ruled by the Supreme King. Description of military: Technological Overview: Eeda technology is impressively advanced, but on a very limited scale. The Eeda scientists were quickly able to adjust their ships engines to function within our reality’s laws of physics, and they have managed to build a small fleet of robotic fighter drones to help protect their ship. They soon started to set up a home on the planet they landed on. From there they started to build factories and created more ships for there fleet. They make heavy use of a white composite material in their technology that is more durable than most metals, the distinct white material being part of the reason for their nickname of “Ice Wraiths”. At least in the star ship category. The ships they have are known as Freeze Traps, as the first blast they do to other ships freeze the ships propulsion system for a short amount of time (at most 5 minutes) having it just float in space. After the ships propulsion systems are frozen, they then proceed to launch lasers at the rest of the ship, attempting to take it down from that. Land Units are advanced, fighting in modified power suits of the ones they use on there planet they live on now. They use a laser rifle that can also serve as a lightsaber-like sword or two pistols. The rifle also has a scope that can advance the view to be able to shoot something from over 20 miles away. History: The “Eeda” are an extra-reality species that found its way into the universe via a science experiment gone horribly awry. The science ship known as the “Aercta” was performing an experiment upon a star in their universe, attempting to use the energy from it to alter the physical state of their reality, this experiment lead to the physics in the immediate area to closely resemble those of our reality. This broke a hole through the walls between the two realities, stranding the Aercta in our reality, a reality with radically different physical laws that led to some initial panic and physical shock amongst the Eeda passengers of the Aercta. Slowly their bodies began to adapt, but the psychological damage was too great and the crew members of the Aercta rejected the laws of this reality. Thermal dynamics in their reality were inverse but not the effects of them, cold and heat were somewhat inverse and the Eeda needed a much cooler environment to be comfortable. The Eeda largely started to wear containment suits that would keep their bodies at comfortable temperatures, and minimize adaption to this new reality. The Eeda avoided civilized worlds and systems, they mined asteroids, and for over 200 years they stayed secret and tried to replicate the experiment that brought them to our reality. The processes they have used to try and replicate the experiment have completely failed every time, the laws of physics in our reality being stronger and less flexible, and in their wake the Eeda have left a trail of dead “frozen” stars. The few people that have encountered the Eeda have nothing nice to say about them, they are discussed only in the shadows and they are treated as a myth. Spacers all know of these creatures they call the “Ice Wraiths” and know to stay away at all costs, that only death follows them. Other:
