Speaking of fairy tales, I ran into a bit of a problem. A concept gripped me but I cannot find a good fairy tale to match it. Aiiiiiii, moar ship girls. Only did a quick google search, but there's The Tinderbox/The Spirit in the Candle which has individuals coming across objects capable of summoning creatures to their aid.
