That's definitely another aspect of this 'Long Silence' not mentioned; it's just a busy time of year for people. X and I don't mean to issue or imply ANY guilt about this to ANYONE but ourselves. But transparency is cool, and I have no problem showing the players the issues we're having as GMs. One of you might have an idea to get us out of it. Or not, and you'll just know what's going on even behind the scenes--either way, it's a plus.

Well, moreso than he already had as an ordinary rich person. He'll also probably be pretty irritated by the sunburn and the forced buzzcut. Worst part of the whole 'being exploded' deal, really. Edit: "Having extremely short hair is combat efficient, you sea cow! So just...shut up before I break your face!"

"At least I have a reason for looking like a burn victim, whereas you have no excuse for continuing to assault the world with your presence, Fat-girl." He would totally ignore medical treatment and forget to apply burn ointment unless people reminded him though.

Just....just don't accidentally call him "Mr. Jay" because he might have a rather violent reaction. But for the most part he'll probably stand in the corner, glaring, waiting for her to go crawling back to Joker. Because they always go back eventually... PS: Jason may or may not build Damian a new R-Cycle as a "get well soon" present once he figures out the whole mutual "getting blown up" thing. I can't promise it'll fly.

I was unsure whether or not she included the whole "By the way Damian almost died." bit, I figured she skimmed some details due to stress. The real question is whether or not Damian would be offended by Jason messing with his R-Cycle.

I guess that would depend on whether or not he accidentally made it worse, which he would find extremely offensive. If he actually managed to improve it or do something cool with it Damian would probably find it...acceptable. Though obviously he neither needs nor wants your pity over a thing as minor as being exploded! He barely even feels the burns and absolutely doesn't have nightmares about it! it's...just that he's practicing grimacing at criminals, and sleep is overrated and pointless! Although actually after being raised by the League, I'm not sure how traumatic he would find almost dying in an explosion. I kind of think part of the reason he ignored it possibly being an ambush and is reckless in general is the idea that Talia and Ra's can always just bring him back or fix him with magic and super-science if he dies/gets a crippling injury.

That's just what you think! They totally love him for real and they'll be back any day now and then Bruce will realize he's wrong about marrying Selina and they can all rule the world together as one big happy family with Drake as their unloved, constantly humiliated court jester! You'll see! He's not actually THAT much in denial about it, but after a lifetime of "Death has limited consequences and we have resources to just rebuild your spine and clone you new organs if we have to" the idea that death is SERIOUS and you and people around you could ACTUALLY DIE AND STAY DEAD takes some getting used to. Especially since he's only recently coming around to the conclusion that, after almost a year and NOT showing up to decapitate Selina before the wedding, Talia's almost definitely not coming back.

Only in Gotham can two guys bond over getting blown up. At least Jason had the dignity of getting blown up by a serial killer. I don't think Damian will be able to live down the whole porta-potty thing. (Though on a quasi-serious note, I think an experience like getting bombed by a porta-potty would traumatize anyone, especially a twelve year old. Even if aforementioned twelve year old is a ninja assassin. Heck, Jason's still brooding about his getting blown up story, and he actually died, stop whining, ya little shit.) No but really, brotherly chats about getting blown up. They'll totally happen.

Oh god if Gotham has New Year's fireworks and I'm pretty sure he's never seen New Years celebrations before...poor Damian. That said not sure if I should post a short bit of him waking up and his post-explosion thoughts or what.
