UPDATE: I have received a PM in which I was accepted aboard the Compass, so some minor changes have been made into my CS Character Sheet Name Kaya Age 23 Which Ship/Crew do they belong to and their position Kaya sailed in on board of the Compass, although she did not know the rest of the crew very well at that time. (I don't really know how long ago this has been) Appearance

Feminine is not the first word people would use to describe Kaya. Her focused eyes might seem harsh to a casual observer, and numerous battle scars adorn her face and suntanned arms. Those who know her a little better would know however, how much her face lights up when she shows one of her uncommon smiles. She stands at 5'10", and does not tend to make herself blend in into the background. She was born with a slender frame, but after years of exercise aboard the ships, she has gained some more muscle. Background
When Kaya was about 15 years old, she hid herself inside a ship to escape the life that was decided for her. Not thinking far ahead, she had not brought any food or water, and she would probably have been found out pretty soon as she had to leave her hiding place every day. However, that day never came. Soon after leaving the harbor, their ship was attacked by pirates. In the commotion, Kaya was somehow able to sneak aboard the pirate ship, driven by no other thoughts than that the fight seemed to be on the old ship, making the pirate ship the safer one at the moment. Of course, she did not go unnoticed for long. Whether it was because she looked a lot like the late daughter of the pirate captain, or just because he admired her for being able to sneak aboard unnoticed, he decided to let her live. Instead of killing her, he decided to let her stay on board, as long as she made herself useful. As she grew up, she learned the ways of the pirates, and before long she was considered one of the crew.

A few years ago, her mentor and captain died. For a short while the crew tried to stay together under leadership of the quartermaster, but after a while the group disbanded. Soon after, Kaya joined the crew of the Compass, hoping to get back into the rhythm soon. Regrettably, her first voyage on the new ship did not go as planned, leaving them stranded in this strange place.
