Princess Ava stood in the hall leading to the prison cells, the guard staring at her. she took a deep breath and started slowly down the hall. she had to talk to him. her breathing was shaky as she approached the cell. the guard at her side was silent but kept watching her, it was his job to keep her safe, and he didn't approve of this, but there was no talking her out of it. she stopped, the cell was a few feet in front of her. this was big for her, she'd never done anything like this before. she took another deep breath and approached the bars silently. the guard staying at her side the whole time. she looked at the man in the cage and cleared her throat.

The princess looks him over for a minute, just taking it in, her eyes settle on his and she stares at him for a few seconds before saying "who are you? i know why you're here, but not who you are" the guard shifted beside her, giving the distinct idea of 'you better answer her' without ever saying a word.

Kaya was a bit confused at first then looked at you then the guard. I glared at him then looked back over to you. "What makes you think that I have to answer to you." Then smirked at the guard.

the guard wasn't even fazed, just kept staring straight at the prisoner.
the princess stared at him as well, in silence. then she tilted her head and said "because your only choices right now are to either talk to me like a civilized human being or my father, who wants all the same answers as me, will have to beat it out of you" she crossed her arms "and trust me, he wants to"

she sighed lightly, and watched him lie down "fine, i'll let you stew, but i don't think you've realized exactly who you're talking to" she started to turn away "you could get so much more out of this conversation if you decided to be compliant" she shrugged and started walking away.

I look up at the wall. "Ugh... royalty are so annoying. Especially their accents." I scratched my head and sat up when you left. "Maybe I'll talk to her tomorrow..." Kaya sighed before laying down yet again and sleep the day over until tomorrow.

she thought about it all night. she finally dropped into bed and passed out. she was woken early the next morning and went through her daily routine, meeting dignitaries and ambassadors, being the object her father showed off to the other countries, got proposed to twice, found excuses not to answer either and finally she was free. her bodyguard tried convincing her not to go see the prisoner again but she felt the need to so she headed down, and stopped yet again, silently, in front of his cell.

I didn't see you at first. I had a knife and was drawing magic symbols on the wall. "I need to get out of here..." The star like symbol glowed but nothing happened. He punched the star making a dent in the wall. "DON'T TELL ME THIS DAMN CELL IS MAGIC RESISTANT!!!" I turned around and looked at you. "Eh... Hi there..." I said awkwardly

She chuckled a little "good try, but we're not stupid" she crossed her arms "any more chatty today?" she yawned "i'm exhausted and i'm not gonna beat around the bush, answer my questions first time or i'm leaving you to stew again" she smiled "so, why'd you try to do? steal that in particular"

She laughed "that's almost adorable," she crossed her arms and smirked at him "it's worth so much more then that, if you only knew how to use it" she sighed and looked down the hall "so how'd you know where it was? the real one, not the one we have on display"
