You know, I remember hearing about a political game like Risk that was more intense. And people usually do it through Email. The way I heard it on NPR it can get so intense and cut throat it has destroyed friendships, or threatened legit physical violence. Real money I think has also been traded in the form of bribery to cement backroom alliances.

I wish I could remember if that was risk or not. But when I heard it I thought of WiR at the time.
