[@MafiaM16] US laws are very different, so we don't have to lock them up. I lock all of mine except my Sig Sauer, because that's a self defense piece. My state actually has fairly restrictive laws, but nothing like Canada's or the rest of the world (for the most part.) As I indicated before, our Second Amendment tends to enshrine firearms ownership as a right which changes the legal calculus quite a bit.
