He looked at Jacque first because of his question and he was quite intrigues by it as well. He had a point in that. Could something be wrong? Suddenly, Miichi raised her arm to volunteer and then looked back at Jacque. It seemed that he wanted to go to this mission. He wouldn't mind him tagging along but I doubt the older Inspector would appreciate that.

"Well, it seems it's a good thing that we volunteered." He said with a chuckle before nodding at Miichi. He stood up as well and walked with Miichi out until she slammed into the doorframe. He sighed as he held a hand towards her. "Be careful next time alright?" He said. "And try to look where you are going while reading. I don't think you're the type of person who can multitask the two things." He continued as he pulled her up.
