A few minutes later, the bell began to ring as it’s intent made the signal that class was over. Roland got up from his desk, curiously eyeing the girl named Avery who without no hesitation sought her way out of class and into the hall where she was starting to become the talk of the school, but in a mean manner. As she was gathering her books and other things from her locker, Roland watched from a distance and observed her behavior as the others surrounding her was talking amongst themselves about her in particular, as other girls made her name and appearance the new big thing giving her the title of dumpster girl. Whilst he stood and watched, Steven came from right behind him and stood next to him as he stared at Avery with him. “She seems pretty strange doesn’t she?” said Steven. “Maybe, but she’s really good at math I’ll give her that.” replied Roland, still very curious as to what the girls intentions were. Suddenly, a look of determination took place onto Roland’s face, as Steven glanced over to look at him and notice that Roland had something he wanted to do. “Uh oh” said Steven continuing with his statement on Roland’s expression. “I know that look. Roland dude you’ve been through this before and I know that look from anywhere and-” Roland quickly turned back to Steven and replied “What are you babbling about?" Roland then began to walk towards his locker, with Steven following behind him as they continued talking. Steven gave a reply “I know how you work. Every time you make that face you’re plotting something in that head of yours and then you tend to do something idiotic and get into stuff that isn’t none of your business. I’m telling you right now I want nothing to do with it.” Roland gave a light smile with a little chuckle to what Steven had said and followed up to his conclusion in the matter. “ I won’t make you tag along with me Steven ok? I just want to see what’s up with her and stuff you know? I’m curious.” As Roland began to walk towards his next destination, Steven sighed shaking his head in disagreement and mumbled to himself “Your always curious.” Lunchtime came around, but Roland was in no hurry to eat as he began to search for the Avery girl, and as he spotted her, she left running out of the cafeteria before he could go up to her and say anything. He carefully followed her afterwards without being seen and once she was found he analyzed what she was doing only to find the girl under a tree with a sketch book in hand. He gazed upon her as she began to write or draw into the book, until her phone went off and he went on a discussion for a minute with someone. Once she was done with the phone conversation, she said to herself that she won’t be able to eat tonight, and that gave an opening for Roland to come out an make himself presentable. He quickly came out of the blue and spoke towards her. “You’re not hungry or something? I mean I can understand skipping lunch but…”
