Ajax Thera - Council Member
Aiden soon approached, bringing a red-haired girl with him. Evidently she was going to be his partner. "Alright," Ajax responded first, almost about to start leaving before Oriel opened her mouth. While the two of them expected Ajax to get angry, the large man only looked at them and raised an eyebrow. After an awkwardly long moment of silence he turned away again and began walking. "Anyways..." He was about to start explaining the plans for training when Aiden asked him a question. Expecting them to follow, Ajax exited the guild hall and began walking down the streets of Crocus. There was notably few people in the streets, as most of the citizens were still a bit frightened by the Jupiter cannon scare from days before. Once the crowd had thinned out sufficiently, and several minutes of awkward silence had passed, Ajax answered Aiden's question. "The guild that perpetrated the attacks was Demon's Maw," he explained, though he continued walking as he talked. "Demon's Maw was once thought to be destroyed, but it seems they managed to survive. I believe one of your guild's members was formerly in Demon's Maw." Ajax tilted his head slightly now, so he could see Aiden and Oriel over his shoulder. "They did those attacks to gauge how strong the wizards of Fiore are. The next time they appear they will undoubtedly be much stronger." With that ominous warning he brought his gaze forward again. "Do not worry yourself about it for now. The demons you faced likely won't resurface anytime soon now that they see the margin of error." "You have more pressing matters." Ajax stopped abruptly, turning around to face Aiden and Oriel. He reached into his pockets and withdrew two train tickets. "You two are too weak to immediately become Magus Hunters." Despite his words being somewhat harsh, his tone of voice made them sound more factual and less insulting. The council member held the tickets out for the both of them. "We will be going to the Magus Hunters' training facility. There is no natural food or water there. The facility rests in one of the harshest climates in Fiore." His yellow eyes went between the two for a moment as he let his words sink in. "You may very well die in the training if you don't follow the rules. You will be trained physically and taught discipline. You will sweat, you will bleed, you may even cry. Once you get on that train, there is no turning back." Ajax paused again, turning around to continue walking with Aiden and Oriel behind him. "By the end of it, however, you will be thankful for the experience. The train leaves in... ten minutes. Last chance to back out."
Hana Oshiro - The Last Samurai
The pink-haired woman thought about Yuuka's summary of their skills. "That sounds about right," Hana agreed. "Though I can do long range if I really wanted... I can demonstrate some time if you want. Just not now." Though her last statement was obvious, given they weren't in a particularly safe area to be flinging powerful magic around, Hana still smiled innocently. "Besides, we'll be just fine between us four." A surprisingly devilish smirk formed on her face as her eyes drifted to Niti. "I guess you can say... we will clean out the competition." Though her joke wasn't particularly comical, she found amusement in it and began giggling to herself.
Stacy Kaiser - White Tiger
The young, pale woman was clearly pleased when she defeated Kyou at chess. Not many people do that, after all. The thought drifted into her head that it could be possible Kyou let her win, but the idea was interrupted when her boss was interrupted by Drake Roganoff. After Kyou finished speaking, Stacy scoffed and spoke up. "The Hound Dogs are nothing more than that anyways: dogs," she snarked, leaning back and kicking her boots onto the table. "If you need them to be king then I feel sorry for you." Her deadpan expression smirked slightly as she pulled a bottle of beer seemingly out of nowhere. "You should be smart and rely on us Magus Hunters. We get the job done, people actually like us... and we don't have a stupid name." After popping the cap off the bottle with her teeth, she took a few chugs before letting out a sigh of relief. Stacy nonchalantly pointed at Drake with her hand that was still holding the bottle. "When you want something done right, give me a call." The white-haired woman gave Drake a wink before getting back to work on the bottle in her hand.
