Walter was born during the Medieval period as part of an upright noble family who taught him the values of justice, patience and kindness. In his young adult years, El Cero became his mentor in how to properly survive in the world of the civilized. Walter once idolized his mentor but he then found that El Cero is extremely racist against non-humans and that he was on a crusade to wipe out the many races that is not human of the Earth.

The young noble tried to stop El Cero's mad ambition and managed to do so (but El Cero got away) though at the cost of much, including his potential brides (i.e. his harem). The only companion he had left was the manifestation of conflict who called himself Dietrich. The immortal duo continued to travel the world, righting wrongs, helping out people and doing overall kindness. They continued this until the present day, gaining losing comrades along the way.

Currently, Walter is part of a secret superhero team that he founded. There was little trouble in the world recently and his teammates urged him to take a relative break so Walter the Eternal applied as a janitor of a regular school that Walter had a feeling wasn't regular at all.
