Jube watched the little wolf lap up the milk for a few moments. It was sad to see animals starving. He hoped it would be nursed back to health with Kestral caring for it. 

Jube looked at Kes for a moment as she spoke. "I wasn't harmed... I was just worried about you. I was scared you wouldn't pull through..." He wondered if she knew he had used powers. He didn't dare ask.
