Pam was silent, eating her food, watching and listening to what everyone was saying, trying to concentrate on what was being said, as her abilities gave her what people looked like, as well as more of the environment around them. It sometimes threw her off, and it was better for her to be quite and focus through it. Lance gave a whine, as if sensing her difficulty, and he laid his head on her knee. She scratched him behind the ears and smiled, reassuring him that she was okay. So also found it easier to focus on Nick, as she had been around him longer then the other students.
