Fave race is elves, I agree with the majority here. I'm also partial to humans, however, and I enjoy the spirituality/lore associated with both races. Though Idk if they'd always win in a war against men; men outnumber elves and aren't swayed as much by the world around them. Wizards are cool too...Basically I just don't like the dwarves I guess, haha. Much of what I've learned about Arda and its lore was learned in a Sci-Fi and Fantasy Philosophy class I took in my first year of college. Silmarillion was a required read. It was great.

So far, I've only only read that and the Hobbit, however. I need to reread the Hobbit since it's been years, then I want to start on the Lord of the Rings. All these years and I've only seen the first two movies...

Also this is on-topic but off-topic: my town in Animal Crossing is called Silmaril, lol.
