Kai watched as his fellow Inspectors and Jun got inside with Jacque at the passenger seat and Miichi and Jun at the back. "You're my second in command, of course I'll help you." He said with a grin as he stepped on the gas, the van instantly moving at a high pace. Kai admired how strong and how fast this van was. The wipers went back and forth vigorously as it tried to wipe the rain that was covering the windshield. Good thing Kai had good eyesight as he drived smoothly even in the rain.

Soon enough, they reached Ikebukuro. It wasn't traffic so they got there fairly quickly. Once there, he drove on to find the shop where the hostage situation was happening.
