(I'll make the first post, an introduction to the Panmundian Legal Guild members. If you want to own a Legal Guild master, feel free to claim him/her and you don't need to make a bio unless you want to. I am in control of Marcarov (Twin-Tails) and Moebius (Gigiyas Clan). The rest of you can claim the rest if you guys want).
Port Tanzia
Port Tanzia's towering lighthouse reaches high into the clouds; a beacon of hope and dreams which can be seen hours before the rest of the port is. In the canals and streets below it, ships exchange their stock, and traders sell their rare goods to buyers. Creatures of all kinds fill the streets, all trying to get somewhere, and pterosaurs and birds fly overhead, carrying varying from secret admirers from just down the street, to important scientific discoveries happening continents away. Marine reptiles escort ships from below the waves and play with children in the clear-blue waters. Everyone seems oblivious to the fact that in just a few minutes, the Legal Guild Masters were all about to meet for the first time in a year. Their meeting place was a small, outside tavern near the edge of water. It has a cobblestone floor, a huge kitchen with a pots brewing various different dishes, and a pretty female Austroraptor waitress bringing drinks to the rowdy customers. The bartender, a Pachycephalosaurus, was giving a drink to a Megatherium sitting at the counter. The huge Sloth was wearing a tattered green handkerchief around his neck, and on it was the mark of the Legal Guild Sloth's Talon. This was the Guild Leader Malcolm, a hard and determined worker who has been with his Guild since its beginning. He takes a swag of the drink from the Pachycephalosaurus and strikes up a small conversation. "Ah, that hits the spot. Took me over a week to get out here by Airship." "Where are you from?" The bartender replies. "Dondruma Town, it's up northwest in the Western Schrade Area." "Never heard of it..." Malcolm's expression turns to dread upon hearing that. No matter how much they try to get their little settlement noticed, still nobody seems to know about it. "I'm the Guild Master of Sloth's Talon? I was here last year with the other Guilds? Don't you remember me?" The Megatherium asks desperately. "No" the Pachycephalosaur replies. He then left to go down and tend to a few more customers at the other end of the counter. Malcolm is left to lament in his seat before he has a visitor. "Still having trouble getting your town recognized buddy?" A deep voice in native Panmundian (the common language in the world) says from behind him. Malcolm turns his head and sees none other than the Guild Master of Earth-Shaker standing before him, an Apatosaurus named Winston. On his back was an orange cloth tied around his body, with the mark of his guild proudly displayed. "Winston! How good to see you old friend!" Malcolm says. Winston then lays down next to him on a huge block designed for sauropods, but doubles-up as a table when not in use. "Have a safe trip over here?" Malcolm asks. "Ah, the trip overseas was bumpy and took a long time, but it could've been worse. I struck up numerous conversations with plesiosaurs along the way." "You didn't use the Ostland?" Malcom asks, somewhat surprised. "No, one of my teams used it for a mission across the sea. They needed it more than me, so I left early and took a boat. They said they'd stop by and pick me up on their way back." Then Winston directs his attention to the bartender. "Hey, send a big round down here!" The Pachycephalosaur obliges and brings out a large barrel of beer for the huge sauropod. Winston then asks Malcom a question before starting to drink. "How have you and your wife been doing?" "Well, she's pregnant." Winston coughs and snorts up a large amount of beer upon hearing that. "WHAT!? Congratulations man! How many months?" Malcolm smiles. "About nine, still another eight or so to go. The baby will be born by the time construction is completed." "Well that's great to hear! Invite the little sloth down during the next guild meeting. I would love to meet him, and I'm sure Karen and Marcorav would love to as well." "Eh, I would... I'm just worried about the other two..." "For the last time! You're not a Pirate you long-faced oath!" A deep voice says from behind them. "ARRRGGH! Yes I be, ye horned scallywag!" Another voice soon says afterwards. "Speak of the devils..." Malcolm says before the two turn. Standing by the entrance was a Titanoceratops and Suchomimus in each other's faces. The Titanoceratops was dressed in full clad armor, covering nearly every square inch of his body. On his sides and frill were the marks of the Guild Armored Knights, and his face had two long scars on it. The Suchomimus had a Pirate's hat on top of his head, with the mark of Pirate Dagger on its front. He had an arm missing, instead replaced with long, thin hook, and a small Icthyornis perched on his sail, looking annoyed at the two master's outbursts. These were Commander Maverick and "Captain Clawbeard", the Guild Leaders of Armored Knights and Pirate Dagger. The Icthyornis is Toothbill, Clawbeard's first mate who accompanies him everywhere. He's not as in on the whole pirate gig as his Master, but still loves their Guild nonetheless. Maverick continues the argument. "You're a Guild Master, not some adventure-seeking pirate. You must sacrifice your fun and games for the greater good of our proud world!" "Arrrggh... Says the landlubber who limits the booze in his Guild! Adventure comes a-calling to me and me crew! We face the fiercest seas and the deadliest waters for treasure, and have fun while doing it! Your Guild is nothing but a long set of restraints!" "Why you..." Maverick says while getting even closer to Clawbeard's face. "Masters," Toothbill chimes in, "aren't we supposed to be meeting up with the others over there?" His statement brought the two Master's attention to the other Guild Masters sitting at the bar, and they quickly run over to join them before grabbing some drinks of their own. "So, how have you two been after so long?" "Fairly good" Maverick replies after taking a swig of his drink. "My men and I took out three Dark Guilds this year, which is our best in the past twenty." Everyone looks impressed by this, except for Clawbeard. "Arrrggh! You think that's good! Some of me crew stumbled upon a massive shipyard in some of the dangerous waters around Aya. They were all loaded with gold coins! Our Guild's now has enough funds to keep the rum running for the next thrity years!" Clawbeard laughs. Toothbill then chimes in. "Too bad the Captain threw a party where everyone drank fifteen years worth of Rum right after that..." Everyone laughs at what Toothbill says, including Clawbeard from peer pressure. Maverick then asks Winston a question. "How has the Earth-Shaker Guild been under your watch Winston, if you don't mind me asking?" Winston finishes gulping down some more beer before replying. "It has been good. It's taken a few years, but everyone has recognized me as their Master by this point. It's taken a long time for me to fill his footprints..." The young Apatosaurus replies. He then looks down at his own feet. "Literally and figuratively." "You still have more growing to do, right?" Malcolm asks. "Me? A lot more. I'm not even half my dad's size." He replies. He was already many times larger than any of the other Guild leaders, but he is still fairly small for his species, and hasn't reached skeletal maturity. "Your father was a great man Winston," Meverick replies. "I remember the time we both went to the Arcolis region to fight a Dark Guild down there. In fact, that was the first big mission Malcolm here went on. Right Malcolm?" Malcolm finished drinking before he replied. "Yep, that was it. I remember." Maverick laughs a deep laugh, the alcohol starting to take over his senses. His guild strictly limited alcohol, so he didn't have the same resistance to it as many of the other masters. "We had them surrounded on all sides, Earth-Shaker and Sloth's Talon kept up the barricade while Armored Knights went in and got them all good! They didn't have a clue what hit them when we charged their gates, and I beat their Guild Master to a pulp!" "How barbaric Maverick. I hope that all you men don't just talk about this while I'm not around." A feminine, almost musical voice says behind them. Everyone turns as sees a Parasaurolophus walking towards them with a long, frilly cloak set over her body. Her head and crest is brightly colored, with the mark of the Red Lambeosaur guild on either side of her crest. Her looks would be considered astonishing for her species, as shown as another Parasaurolophus looks at her from the far back of the tavern with his eyes budging out of his head. The other Guild Masters immediately recognize her as Karen, the Guild Master of Red Lambeosaur, and get up to greet her. "Karen, how good it is to see you," Winston says. "You look radiant as always." "Oh stop, you're flattering me," she says with a blush. She lays down on another bench at the counter and immediately begins striking up a conversation. "It's been so long everyone! How has everything been?" "Arrrgh!" Clawbeard chimes in. "The seas have been fine and the rum's been good my dear lady!" "He said it," Malcolm says. "We've all been great." Winston then breaks the news to everyone. "Malcolm's having a kid." Karen's expression becomes ecstatic and she honks at the top of her lungs. "Oh, dear Malcom! She then gets up and runs over to wrap her front legs around the shaggy Ground Sloth. "Congratulations darling! You simply must invite me to see him when he's born!" "Thank you so much, we will. My wife's already been knitting blankets, and I've been building toys for the little tot. He's developing fast." "Thought of a name yet?" Maverick asks. "Not yet, we're still deciding." Malcolm replies. "How about Jones? Like Davy Jones!" Clawbeard suggests. "For the last time! You're not a pirate!" Maverick says, more irritated by his statement from the drinking. "Arrrggh! And you're not really a knight ye walking tin can!" Clawbeard remarks back, also now more irritable by the drinks. "Oh, calm you two." Karen says while drinking some wine. "We haven't seen each other in so long! We should celebrate!" Clawbeard gets up and points his hook at the Titanoceratops. "After this one apologizes for saying I'm not a pirate!" Maverick also gets up and points his horns at Clawbeard. "How dare you say I'm not a knight you fish-eating freak!" Toothbill gets up from eating some bread and tries to stop them again. "Masters, come on! Shouldn't we be getting along! Master Clawbeard! I'm sure Master Maverick didn't really mean that!" "I did mean it you bird!" "That's it!" Clawbeard says. The Suchomimus leans over and a sword slides out of sheath tied to his back, which falls into his clawed hand. He then points the sword directly at Maverick. Maverick, in turn, rears his head back and then throws it forward, causing numerous blades and spikes to deploy out the helmet part of his armor, which he points at Clawbeard. The other Guild Masters watch in disbelief as they think two of their own were about to fight one another. However, before anyone does anything, a shadow glides over their heads. Suddenly, within a flash, the sword Clawbeard was holding falls to pieces. Maverick's spikes and swords too all fall to pieces and let out a loud clang upon hitting the ground. Everyone is shocked at what happened, including many others observing from nearby tables. Clawbeard and Maverick have no idea what happened, until they see a small avialian standing a few feet away from them. The creature was Macarov, Twin Tail's Guild Master, an old Jeholornis. He wore a small vest to covering his body, and his wings were painted with the mark of his Guild proudly shown. His feathers were of numerous colors, but started to fade with his age. Attached to his arms were sharp blades which lay parallel to his wings, and on his feet too were razor-like metal talons attached to all his individual claws. He flicked his wings back, causing the blades to swing back into a sheath, and re-curved the claws on his feet. He slowly gets up and turns his head towards the other Guild Masters. Maverick and Clawbeard look scared about what is about to happen, while the rest of the group looks relieved. "I hope you two weren't really about to fight now, were you?" Macarov asks with a look of anger and disappointment. "N- n- n- no- NOT AT ALL MASTER MACAROV!!!" Both say while turning and bowing towards him, scared about what possible punishments they might face from the most powerful Guild Master in Panmundia. "Good," Macarov says, his expression quickly changing to one of happiness as if nothing ever happened. "Now then, how is everyone doing?" "Fine I must say, Marcarov." A feminine voice from near the entrance of the tavern says. Marcarov turns and sees a male Ivantosaurus walking towards him, smiling. "I liked that little performance you just did, it's nice to see you still in-action despite your age." This was Wulf, the Guild Master of Sabertooth, the second strongest Guild after Twin Tail. The giant gorgonopsian dressed in thick, warm fur and leather wrapped around his body, with the Sabertooth emblem on the side. His sabers were shiny white in the intense tropical sunlight, and although small compared to the numerous dinosaurs around him, he was able to make himself seem intimidating to most of them; even to the other Guild Masters. Marcarov, however, simply stood still where he was. "I'm far from done yet, Wulf," Marcarov says while smiling. "It's going to take me a long time before they put me out of commission." He holds out a wing, and Wulf holds out his own paw to shake it. "How's your Guild been? It's been so long since we last spoke." "It's been very good. Despite the freezing temperatures and horrible conditions, everyone loves working there." He smiles while she talks, letting the length of his sabers show. The other Guild Masters quickly get up from their seats and greet them at the center of the tavern. "How good it is to see you two." Malcolm says with a smile on is face. "I'm so glad you were both able to make it," Karen says with a smile. "Marcarov, you're looking younger every time I see you. And Wulf, you look handsome! You must do something to your skin to keep it from getting all worn in that weather you live in." Wulf smiles. Despite looking intimidating, he appreciated when he gets praised about his looks. "Truthfully, I don't use anything." Karen gasps. "Are you sure? You're a lucky one then. I have to do so many things to keep myself looking like this." Then Malcolm intrudes. "Well, this should be everyone. What should we do next?" "Not everyone," Wulf says before turning around. "You can come in Draco, it's fine." Suddenly from out of the doorway comes a big Tyrannosaurus Rex. He wore war paint over his face and had long, decorative feathers pointing off the back of his head and neck. His body was wrapped in leather armor with the mark of the Wyvern Fang guild, and he carried no noticeable weapons. He looked surprisingly nervous to enter such a busy tavern, and numerous eyes from all across the tavern looked at him with some fear. There were not many kind stories about his kind in Panmundia, and his species were weary of outsiders because of this. However, after a moment of stares, he stood strong and with a dignified expression on his face. he walked proud towards the other Guild Masters, who greeted him with open hearts. "Hello. I am Draco, the Master of Wyvern Fang. You know the previous master, before me, he was here last year." "We do all know him." Marcarov says. "Quickly now, let us walk. There are plenty of sights in the city, and I'm sure you wish to see them all." The Guild Masters spent the next week talking about various Guild matters and having fun. Winston drank barrels full of beer and never once got drunk once; Malcolm bragged about his baby to everyone; Maverick and Clawbeard got into more fights, all of which were stopped by Wulf and Marcarov; Karen went shopping for a bit in the town's ports, and Marcarov even sparred for a while with the other Masters, and ended up not even breaking a sweat. Draco was nervous about being in such a big city, and no matter where he went he felt isolated from everyone else around him, but the Guild Masters accepted him with open hearts and minds, seeing him a their equal, and that made up for it. Eventually, however, all had to go their separate ways back to their own individual Guilds. Marcarov in particular got a letter which was a list of complaints from the High Council about his Guild Member's behavior, telling him to head back and have a chat with everyone. The Ostland and Shining Sail also came by and picked up Winston and Clawbeard, and after some long goodbyes, particularly from Karen, they all went their separate ways back to their Guilds and families.
