Food and water are scarce, light only caresses the points of the highest spires, 93% of its surface is composed by an endless void and the horrors that inhabit the towers would drive mad a mortal in a matter of seconds. This might seem like a disadvantage, but truth is no stranger has ever dared to visit this place. In addition, Enders have already witnessed visions of the abyss for thousands of years, and therefore are practically immune to whatever the Dream Plague could throw at them. -Unique Trait #2: (Created by me, mostly to reduce min-maxing) -Unique Flaw #1, Binding: forgotten by God, Enders have been completely banished from the cycle of life and death. As such, they are incapable of giving birth, and their population has become stagnant. As such, their existance has been binded to The End: every time an Ender dies, they are reborn from The Core, which slowly consumes their last bits of humanity every time this happens. This process is known as Binding. -Major Towers: Nexus, holder of The Core; Chandelier, the shining needles. -Major Castles: none. -Buildings of Interest: The Core, Gate of Chandelier. -Geographic Features of Interest: The End is located in an immense sinkhole called Void by the Enders; an apparently bottomless pit from where Nexus and a few other towers emerge from. Said towers are connected to each other and to a several smaller floating towers with horizontal columns of roughly one meter of diameter. Together, they form a vast node graph of towers where Enders live.

-Majority Race: Enders. -Majority Race Appearance: although Enders are quite varied in appearance depending on how many times they have been Bound, all of them have some basic characteristics that always apply: all Enders have light grey skin, in some cases completely white, but never dark grey; their hair is almost always straight, sometimes wavy, and either completely black or completely white; and, if they still have any, their eyes will be red. In addition, their voices sound like meaningless whispered echoes, but although they don't resemble any sort of language or have any identifiable patterns, they are understood by everyone who listens to them. However, depending on their Bound level, several mutations might start to appear.

No mutations. These Enders are known as the Unbound, and at most they may have been Bound only once. They look like regular humans, except for the characteristics mentioned above.
Like it was made of porcelain, their delicate skin starts to crack, drawing small black fissures accross their bodies. These cracks become bigger and more abundant after each Binding. Enders only affected by this characteristic are called Seeds.
After a few Bindings, their eyes melt, leaving behind two apparently bottomless dark holes. Some go blind after this point, some are lucky enough to grow a giant eye in their throats. These Enders are named Rooted by their society.
Loss of muscle and bone mass. Enders start becoming skinnier after each Binding after reaching this point. Sometimes, they also become taller, which is quite a disadvantage since their legs can no longer support so much weight; instead, these Enders start crawling. Their name is the Harvested.
After this point, Enders become completely bald, their skin finally cracks open, revealing some scarce grey dried muscle tissue, the top of their skull disappears, and their rib cage starts to cover only a small part of their lungs, enough to allow them to barely breathe. As a result, their muscle tissue wraps around their internal organs thightly, brain included, which makes their silhouettes and movement visible to the naked eye. Obviously, this grade of living descomposition can't be sustained for too long, and most of these Enders simply die on being reborn, which quickly precipitates them to the next stage. They are the Lost.
-Majority Race Characteristics: Enders are dependant on The Core, and the more Bound they are the more they need the protection of its magical aura. If an Ender goes too far from The Core, they might become Blind, a mental illness that slowly destroys their psyche with paranoia, fear, alienation from their own people and sometimes accentuated aggressiveness caused by the former conditions. According to their culture, Blind Enders are those who have been overcome by despair after losing The Core's "light" from sight for too long. If the symptoms have just started, it can be cured by quickly returning said Ender to The End, but after a certain point the only cure for the Blind is considered to be Rebinding them to The Core. Enders are also very sensible about alimentation, their bodies being only able to sustain themselves on water, sunlight and a species of algae called Axons, only found inside The End's endless towers. Even though Enders don't need much of each one of those (half a liter of water a day, 300 grams of Axons every four days and sunlight at least for five hours each week), the increasing difficulty of obtaining axons could precipitate Enders to an ever-accelerating cycle of Binding. Also, as mentioned above, Enders don't speak in any specific language: they whisper and people simply understand them. -Minority Races: although they are technically Enders, they differ greatly from them, and as such will be considered a species of their own for the purposes of this sheet. Corpses are the final stage of an Ender's cycle of Binding, completely devoid of humanity. Or almost, for their sad existence will perdure until the end of the times, still perfectly aware of a suffering they will never get used to. These amorphous balls of flesh are completely incapable of moving or even dying, and as such will be eternally stuck into a "life" of endless, insufferable pain. Despite all of this, though, they are respected by their society, since it's considered that these Enders sacrificed themselves for the good of the rest of The End, and as such they are venerated as the grandparents of a dying land (since for Enders, actual age is meaningless). Each time an Ender reaches the end of their Binding cycle, they are taken to rooms next to The Core, and an Unbound or Seed caretaker assigns itself to the Corpse, to accompany them and ease their suffering for the years to come.

-Religion: Gottisttotism -Religious Information: for the Enders, God has always been dead. Since the first moment they remember, they knew very clearly that God had abandoned them to their mercy, and that they had been living and feeding off of his corpse for all these millenia. They also knew that their land was simply the first one to be affected by God's Death, as they were its brain, but the wave of grief and despair would continue and propagate to other lands... in time. -Holy Relics In Possession: The Core, believed to be God's pineal gland. -Holy Sites Under Control: The Core. -Magical Schools and Curriculum: all Unbounds, some Seeds and The Core itself seem to passively emanate some kind of magical healing aura that can ease the pain of the Corpses. Other than that, they seem to be quite bad at magic, specially worse the more Bound they are.

-Total Military Size: 1618 -Military Details: The End's military isn't actually a proper military. Its 1618 members are composed by several Seed to Rooted volunters who dedicate their lives to investigating the lower levels of the towers of The End to provide their civilization with food and resources necessary for its survival. As such, even although The End's depths hide monsters that escape human comprehension, very few units are extensively trained in the art of war. 1416 of its soldiers are simple infantry, armed with short swords made of Soma, a very resistant metal naturally found in the walls of some of The End's towers, and armored with thick Dendrite suits, a nylon-like substance obtained from the smelting of a non-edible algae of the same name found next to Soma concentrations that can be extruded to form thin, yet resistant fibres. 186 units are veteran soldiers named the Soma Knights, experienced warriors with centuries of incursions to the most dangerous towers of The End; they all carry heavy Soma longswords, and are obviously armored with a full Soma plate armor, which granted them this name. However, there is a small special set of 16 elite soldiers called the Core Dragoons; extraordinarily powerful Rooted Enders, with enormous spears and armors made from an unknown unnamed metal found in the lowest explored levels of The End. The nature of this myserious metal appears to be that of a living substance, as it has fused itself with the skin of the Core Dragoons like a symbiont. The only dettachable part of their armors is the helmet, which allows them to drink, eat and take their required doses of sunlight (although in roughly thrice the time of a normal Ender). The Core Dragoons are special units destinated only to the most dangerous missions, always leading the march of the troops due to their apparent invulnerability.

-Head of State/Monarch: none. -Persons of interest: since the Breaking of the Moon, which Enders interpreted as a symbol of the weakness of the rest of God's body and the imminent start of a chain of events that would finish with the total necrosis of this world, The End has set up a group of four Unbounds and Seeds called the Committee of External Affairs. This group has been trained to deal with representatives of other nations when the inevitable visit to their kingdom to ask for their knowledge of the Death of God came. Selected amongst the most beautiful, charming and generally the most human-like Enders (to prevent visitors from becoming insane at the sight of their most Bound Enders and to give a general sensation of warmness to their guests, amongst other things), the Committee of External Affairs has the task to inform any travelers about the Death of God and what will happen to their lands when they finally get consumed by grief and despair. Their representatives are:

Noyureko, a beautiful and charming female Unbound, with smooth feminine facial features, perfectly smooth light gray skin and relatively short white hair. In case the visitors asked to be attended by a single person, Noyureko has been designated as the Ender's default spokeswoman.
Redeioeyu, a tall and bulky bald Seed with sharp facial features and a really marked jawbone. Despite his appearance, he is quite well mannered, yet a bit cold.
Reuiwawa, a slender Seed woman with refined characteristics. Doesn't like to talk much, and when she does she likes to go straight to the point. Despite this, she seems to emanate a quasi magical aura of irresistible charisma everywhere she goes.
Uimonwazee, a really short Unbound man, slightly chubby and with a wide smile always drawn on his face. Loves jokes and is generally a pleasant person to hang with.

-History: it is unknown how much time has passed since The End and its inhabitants were created, as they can always recall a prior event to the latest one they managed to remember. As far as we know, Enders have existed since this world appeared, or at least for a very very long time. However, they have always had very clear that they were nothing but maggots feeding of what was once the healthy brain of their God, the first part to suffer its death that would soon extend to the rest of the world. Despite having a long story, their records are quite uneventful. Other than the first and second Purges two thousand years ago, the creation of the first Core Dragoon around five hundred years ago, and the start of the End of Line less than one century ago, their history is only plagued by a constant, yet nominal misery. -List of Historical Grievances:

The first and second Purge (about 2000 years ago): nobody knew where they came from, nor how they managed to bypass the watch posts or even what were their motivations, but everybody knew they had a thirst for blood. Endless waves of Eldritch abominations managed to invade the Nexus during {NoUi, XaRe}|MonOe. By the time Enders managed to contain them, almost one thousand people were transformed into Corpses. It was a tragic day for the inhabitants of The End, but what they didn't expect is that it would repeat itself after only seven years.
First Core Dragoon (about 500 years ago): blacksmiths became amazed by the discovery of a new mysterious metal's properties. It didn't take long before the first Core Dragoon armor and lance were produced, and it took even less time to decide which lucky soldier would be the first to try it out: Koyuger, one of the most veteran Soma Knights known for his unstoppable might. With him leading a group of the best Soma Knights, exploration of the lower levels accelerated greatly. However, what they discovered down there wasn't very good.
End of Line (less than one century ago until the actuality): the lower levels of The End didn't bring good news to the Enders. In fact, quite the contrary: Axons become rarer the deeper you adventure into the towers. Thus, it became obvious that Axons were a limited resource that would probably disappear in the centuries to come. With Axons being impossible to farm and every attempt at consuming other different edibles ending up in death or utter ineffectiveness, Enders knew their days were about to come to an end very soon. The effects of this famine have already started, with some Enders becoming weaker due to the lack of proper nourishment. As of now, it seems that an excellent administration of the scarce resources has prevented any deaths related to the End of Line, but if things continue like this and Enders don't find a solution, they will start to pile up quite fast.
-Relations: none. -Cultural Notes: as deduced from above, Enders have a culture that values cooperation and altruism over anything else, which is how they managed to survive in peace for many milenia despite lacking any structures of power. Every Ender knows they have to do their best to help their society, and every Ender knows their society will do their best to help them. Also, they employ a hexadecimal counting system instead of a decimal one. The table of equivalence from human hexadecimal to Ender hexadecimal can be found below.
0 - Ub 1 - No 2 - Re 3 - Ui 4 - Ger 5 - Xa 6 - Mon 7 - Wa 8 - Zee 9 - Mon A - Yu B - Es C - Ko D - Dei E - Oe F - To
Enders represent dates also in hexadecimal, but they have quite a special format for them. Instead of using static dates, they use relative dates: a past date is represented by the time that has passed since that event, and is written with the format {[Centuries passed], [Years passed]}|[Days passed]. Obviously, data isn't represented exactly like this due to the nature of their writings, but it's a rough aproximation of what can be understood from them. In addition, future dates are represented as a countdown from now to that event, and is represented as [Days remaining]|{[Years remaining], [Centuries remaining]}. Of course, for more casual appointments, noting centuries and years wouldn't be necessary, and any field containing Ub could be completely omitted. As for hours, they are written in a floating comma format that represents the percentage of completion of the day. Enders usually round up to four decimal digits, but the flexibility of this format allows them to represent an arbitrarily precise hour. As such, an example complete past data could look like {No, XaCo}|ReZee#ReUi.OeNoYuUi, while a future data would look like ReUi.OeNoYuUi#ReZee|{XaCo, No}. This system may seem really inconvenient and complicated as it is necessary to recalculate the data every time it is used, but Enders don't seem to mind this. They are used to it, and they are also quite good with numbers. In addition, just like their spoken language, their scriptures are an ever-shifting amorphous set of random noise drawn over a paper that somehow makes sense, even if focusing on different points of the paper will make the gibberish to appear completely different as it was before. Curiously enough, written dates appear actualized every time they are read. It is said that mortals that look at them for too long will become insane after a while.
