When Evangeline went running off for the obstacle course, Amethystia stayed with Simon, not entirely convinced he would be okay. "Hey, Simon, are you okay? That girl was nasty, wasn't she? Here, let's get you on your feet. You poor thing, that must have been so scary." She was quite conscious of the other students staring at them, and the fact that they would be either the last or the second-to-last out on the obstacle course. She braced her arm around Simon's back and put his arm around her waist, so that she could support his weight until he'd entirely come to. "Simon, it's time for PE. Do you think you're up to the obstacle course, or do you want to go to the nurse's office?" She was secretly enjoying being pressed up against his side this way, but she filed the emotion away for late. Right now all she was worried about was Simon's well-being.
