[@Snarfulblast][@ShadowVentus] The shadows look at Karl, then look at each other, then look at Karl, then finally look back to each other with growing grins. "What do you think, Amber? Should we?" Clancy asks. "I think it'd be a big mistake if we didn't~!" Amber giggles in reply. The shadows nod to each other, then look at Karl. "We're going home to throw a party! And YOU should come with us!" The two of them don't wait for a reply, and use their shadowy claws to grab what looks like just a space in the air. Then they rip that space out of the air, creating a portal swirling with purple and black colors. Amber skips into it, and begins to fall straight down in a tunnel of swirling dark energy, laughing all the way. Clancy grab's Karl by the wrist and jumps in after her. All 3 of them land on a hill overlooking a different world: Shadowland. The grass is dark purple, and the sky is blood red with a silver moon. There are flowers in the grass, but they're blue and half-wilted. In the distance, the silhouette of what looks to be an extravagant carnival sits. Ammi nods understandingly at Michael. "Oh, it's fine, dear. No harm done this time, and even if there had been, I'm not sure we could have really blamed you justly. When you go into 'berserk mode', as you put it, your mind is somewhere else entirely, and you can't truly understand what you used to anymore. I know from unfortunate experience..." "Ah, yes, it's nice to meet you too. We can always use more allies in this group, no matter what grade of 'crazy' they may or may not be." Kayori smiles kindly at Michael, then scoots closer to Felixter. He notices this, but does nothing except chuckle a bit. "Yeah, it's nice to meet you! I like new people that are nice! Nice new friends are great!" Mirui looks absolutely joyful, despite the fact that she just saw this same person pointing his sword at all of her other friends but a few minutes ago. Now, Mirui starts looking around, before leaning down to ask Kayori, "Kayori, is there still gonna be a bubble-unicorn party in this floating bubble hotel? I want cake!" Kayori laughs, and pats the monster girl's head with her good hand. "Well, I don't know about the party at the moment, but I'll try and see if I can't get you cake soon enough." "Yay! Thank you, Kay-kay!" Mirui claps her hands together and bounces a bit where she stands. Lucille is a bit surprised at Michael suddenly bowing before her, but she certainly doesn't find it unfitting or unpleasant. She chuckles. "Oh, my dear, you do not have to bow before me. I am not the queen of a living kingdom anymore. Just the queen of my own slice of Hell. However, I very much appreciate the respect, young man. Nice to know that some men still have that. You haven't wronged me, as long as you don't wrong these Cat Demon children, their friends, or other innocent women and children. I value the happiness and lives of all of these things. Anyone I catch who doesn't...gets a visit from me or my hellions here in the night." "For a protector of innocent women and children, you seem a little...frightening..." Kayori murmurs. Meora smirks at the happy group, then turns back to Fedora-man, listening to what he has to say. She takes the parcel, and nods "Hai. Don't worry, I've been to the Demon Highlands enough times to know my way around. I'd say the same about knowing what to expect too, but this time I won't be with Sephie-chan or Felixter-kun. It'll be...interesting. Guess we'll see if the Master has any interest in taking me without them there, eh? Tch, yeah. As if he could break me down. I'm not scared of that fluffy pink rat. I'm not scared of this Sochi guy, either." "Be careful even still, Meora. The Master always has some kind of plan. He's always at least 5 steps ahead, it seems. If anything seems amiss when you're there, take extreme caution." Felixter's tone becomes gravely serious. "If you get captures, we'll certainly come after you, but I'd prefer if you tried to stay out of that sort of danger. Though...I understand how halfway-pointless this warning might be to you. I mean, you're my sister's best friend. Of course you're going to run head-on into the first sight of action and danger." He smirks a bit. "Ne! Gimme so credit here! I know how to take care of myself in these situations. Seems like you keep forgetting who saves all 18 of your lives of a certain pair of cat demon twins in that one war, Felixter-kun." Meora snickers. "True...just...take care, then." Felixter nods with more of a smile. "If you need any help, feel no shame whatsoever in calling us. Especially me. I'll come right away. After all, I do see you as one of my children." Ammi beams warmly at the neko girl, then turns back to Michael. "The same goes for you. Even though you're not a child, you're still an ally and friend." "Ne, matte. There's still one thing I wanna ask before I get going here." Meora has already walked up to the portal's entrance, eager to go and get this Sochi person, as well as maybe give the Master a piece of her mind, should the chance arise. "Are you all gonna be able to handle Sephie-chan up there okay? I can hear her yelling and banging on walls from down here. Is that Murasaki-baka Kiroketsu-kun going to be able to do anything? Will you all survive without me here to handle Sephie-chan? Daijobudesuka?" "Meora, should the worst happen, I'm sure we can pull through and deal with it in your absence. You're a very important friend to Sephie, so we know how uneasy you are about leaving her like this, but you can trust us. Just go and kick some demon butt, okay?" Ammi grins. Meora takes on a determined grin of her own. "Hai, arigatou, Ammi-sama. Right then. I'm off. Sayonara!" And with that, she takes the parcel she's been given, and leaps into the portal provided by Fedora-man. Meanwhile, upstairs, Meora was completely right about Sephie. She's still shouting random, incoherent phrases and broken sentences in her own native demon language, while Kiroketsu stands speechless outside of the door, wondering just what he should do now. "Man...I really just wanna say 'screw this' and go back down to hang out with Mirui...but Meora, Ammi, and Kayori are down there. They'll beat me into a pulp if I go back down there without results!" He whines. Suddenly, he screams and jumps, almost hitting his head on the ceiling when a set of enlarged claws stabs through the magically-locked door. Kiroketsu's eyes widen. "OH. THOSE ARE RESULTS. NOT GOOD ONES, BUT RESULTS." Kiroketsu backs up. The claws yank themselves out, then stab again, trying to tear through the door. "RUNRUNRUNRUNRUNRUNRUN!" Kiroketsu flees right away to go warn the others, instead of staying and monitoring the crazed, now enraged demon girl. Possibly a bad move.
