Seiji sighed as he sat in his seat, watching whatever shenanigans unfolded around him. Nobody had really noticed his presence, but that was fine- given the lack of sanity everyone seemed to have, it was probably better off that way. Mindlessly following along with the statements the people on stage were giving out, Seiji tapped his fingers on his lap impatiently. Though the introductions were all probably mandatory, the time it took to get through them seemed to be a lot longer than it should have been. Oh well. That was probably due to his boredom, in all honesty. After transferring here as a complete nobody, it wasn't surprising to not be making any acquaintances- his relatively bland appearance didn't help matters much either. But the formalities continued on, no matter hoow useless they seemed to be. Oh, if only this thing could end sooner so he could get back to reading... The thought of reading in the auditorium had obviously crossed his mind earlier, but that would be disrespectful and probably get him in some sort of trouble or, worse yet, get his novel confiscated. It wasn't worth the effort to retrieve the copy if that was the case, of course, so Seiji decided to just take this one head on. The coffee he had taken earlier that morning was just starting to kick in now, anyhow- what perfect timing that was.
