[@Cyclone]I'll take a gander and say Turkey/Arabia is what influenced you. And I actually took inspiration from the entirety of Asia, with China and Japan as the big one with some Korean chuck in there.
However, the original inspiration if from the former island nation of Ryukyu, which existed in real life before getting eaten by Japan in the 1500s. Hell, even my Emperor's name, Shitatsu is the same as the leader of Ryukyu in the mid 1400's lol
