Kali grinned for a few seconds, then realized an attack had replied to her strike on the trees. "Get down!" She yelled, pulling Sev with her. He popped his head up, and stood at the window with the book behind his back. The blast hit the side of his house, causing no damage and only a short moment of shaking. "Pfft," Kali scoffed, "Not only did they miss, but it wouldn't have even scratched me." "Don't get cocky," Sev snapped, "We're being watched. They know where we are, what we look like." He looked at where the shot came from and saw no one. "Whoever they are, they're gone. Want to go find them?" He suggested calmly. Kali smiled again, "Grab your bag so you can hide the book." Sev quickly got dressed, threw on his bag, tossed their white spell book in and walked outside. "They were over in the forest last, so lets check there." Sev said, leading the charge to their objective.
