Finally they reached the forest, but Kali was already getting antsy. "Sev, how much longer?" He had climbed up a tree to see if he could find anything. While sliding down, branches were snapping in the distance, and quickly getting closer. "Kali!" The mamodo looked up at him, then forward just in time to see the ball of dark power slam into her body. Kali flew back, crashing into a tree. She wobbled to her feet and growled, "THIS WAS MY FAVORITE DRESS!" Kali held up her hand and Sev followed with the spell. "[b][color=blue]Vilar[/color][/b]." She fired back in response, exactly where she saw the ball come from.

Sev, after their attack, picked Kali up off the ground and ran behind a large tree. "Keep it down," he whispered to her, "Lets see how they respond." For once, she obeyed and carefully listened for any clue to their opponents location.
