[@PlatinumSkink] I'll mess with the lance, I was hoping for something like Erika's Rapier or Ephriam's lance which name escapes me now. As for the riders Hodge is a guy, Isme and Mylle. Perhaps they were stopped by the queen and that's why they didn't follow him?

As for Jehanna I was thinking like he actually stopped the bandits just inside the border then decided to spend the night in a nearby town. The king then invited the random visiting prince to the castle where he learned how strong Jehanna had gotten first hand. All the while back in Renais his mother is having conniptions over this chaos.

I played the game a lot so I know a bunch of stuff about it. Also he feels that Renais should stand up and fight Jehanna's forces. If they wait then there will only be less of them to strike back.
