Bella panicked as the monsters ganged up on her after her attack. She hurriedly started dipping her brush in the paint to cast a fire wall to defend herself, but it was too late. The monsters were already charged up with their lasers. She cried out as the laser beams hit her all at once, and the world turned white.

In a moment Bella regained consciousness. [i]Am I dead?[/i] she wondered confused for a moment before she recognized where she was. Wincing, Bella stumbled onto her feet and stepped out of the scanner. "Oww.." she muttered. She glanced around and noticed Jared, seemingly having just experienced the same thing she did. "Hey, are you okay?" she asked him. [i]He must have been the bird,[/i] she realized. And that meant that her spell was what made him get defeated by the monsters. "Oh shoot, this is my fault. I shouldn't have tried that spell. I'm sorry," she said. Bella walked into the center of the room and looked up the ladder. The only way to go now was back up at this point.
