As his mother and father fell into a state of depression, he remained strong and lived for years without knowing that his older siblings were actually dead. During his early middle school years, he discovered the potential of his ability to manipulate friction. As he slowly got the hang of his Esper power, he was informed of the truth behind his siblings, much to the horror of his parents. He expressed sorrow, but he did not exert hatred for having his parents hide the truth. Tsubasa soon decided to change for the sake of preparing himself for the reality that lurked within his future, becoming quieter than usual, but his thoughts never underwent a drastic change. He soon trained in martial arts and eventually, on a dark and starless night, found the men who mutilated his siblings at an old warehouse nearby the harbor where his brother and sister were found dead at. After sliding around the murderers who slayed the brother and sister he never had, the men panicked when parts of their clothes were set on fire. They eventually tried to run away in a car after an unsuccessful attempt of sexual harassment on a child, only to get chased by the wielder of twin daggers. He did nothing to end their lives, for he found no reason to do so. The police soon identified a car flying down several streets and were eventually forced to shoot the men. Tsubasa never had revenge, and in some ways, he regrets being unable to make the people pay for never learning their lesson. He had better things to do than to grumble around, however, and eventually went back to the warehouse he initially found the men at. A week later, the girl at the warehouse, whose parents had abandoned her due to a particularly destructive Esper ability, was soon adopted by his family. Tsubasa now attends Hybrid Academy with every intention in improving himself. Forget having a normal life; he knew that nothing about him would end normally. Though he was no flashy hero, he decided that he could become a formidable Esper who could, at the very least, mend his family’s broken ties. Personality: Tsubasa has a random trait of using optimistic words to describe regularly pessimistic thoughts. This trait does not always pop up, but whenever it does, Tsubasa himself may openly question when he just said. He may look quiet, but he actually has a lot to say. Tsubasa holds back most of thoughts and usually speaks the most important parts of his messages out. This could lead him to sounding extremely blunt at times. The wielder of twin daggers may not be the brightest bee who could cleanse dark emotions, but he can unknowingly serve as a catalyst to brighter emotions due to how he could be aloof at times. He is known to love German but being unable to speak it at all. (He only knows the word “Panzer” and spams it over and over again if he meets a German) During combat, Tsubasa rarely talks unless he is speaking to an ally. He could come off as cold-blooded to some, as he usually fights to his fullest extent. Tsubasa does not seem to have much against Magicians and Normalishes. The faster he goes, the more fire he leaves behind. Friction Heat: The more he moves and generates fires through his friction, the more heat he can use to shield himself to receive more damage. He can alternatively use the heat to empower his attacks until he receives damage. Friction Heat accumulates based on how fast Tsubasa is moving. Geyser Slide: Tsubasa uses a burst of speed, causing the fire that is normally left behind him to erupt instead. When Tsubasa directly slides against organic targets, Geyser Slide can deal quite a lot of damage and burn them severely. The fire acts like regular fire.
Disadvantages: Tsubasa needs room to slide and utilize his Friction Manipulation. He also needs speed to remain sliding on surfaces such as walls. Sliding regularly can make his movements become predictable, so Tsubasa must come up with different ways to control his footwork without having to worry about people easily anticipating how he’ll approach them. Most (if not all) of the children immediately swarm around him whenever he visits the place.
