The situation Gilbert had found himself in was just really strange. He guessed he had really been in many strange situations before, because for some reason, this weird girl didn't really phase him that much. She seemed slightly taken aback. Was this the type of thing she did often? [color=gold]"What are you doing going around stalking people?"[/color] His expression was one of being weirded out. The crinkle in his eyebrows made him look like maybe he didn't even [i]want[/i] to know what she was up to. Maybe it would be better if he just told her to scram. 

[color=gold]"Is there any crime really worth investigating on this island, anyways?"[/color] He questioned skeptically, raising an eyebrow at her. While he wasn't exactly educated on what a detective's occupation entailed, he highly doubted that tailing random people for no reason was on the list of their duties. [color=gold]"Go 'investigate' someone else, will you?"[/color] Gilbert stated, rubbing the back of his head with his gloved hand. This girl really hadn't done a good job of making a good first impression.
