As the boy gasped upon touching the angel's wing, Lotte knew it was real. That the being in whole was, in fact, real. When the large wing enveloped him though, she did wish she could touch it too. However, when First cleared her throat and looked serious, her attention went back to her message. With each word the angel spoke, Lotte had recognized them to be sincere. Truly, this was such a rare occasion. To accept the heavy task or not? The decision had been made even before she came to the hill. It was a yes, of course. She would be excited, even, to be able to change her predictably trite life; to experience something new. As First's wings momentarily flashed golden, images filled her mind, racing about. The different worlds she couldn't recognize; the beauty of the universe. She also saw a glimpse of hints of a Disorder. What intrigued her most was, in fact, the gifts that she could possess if she were to accept the angel's request. To be able to actually be up in the sky, feel the wind, control it. To form shields to protect. To control speed. It was all wonders she'd only dreamed of. And before her was the chance for it to be hers. But of course she weighed all the repercussions too: she could fail in her task, get lost between universes, and die, even. So many more. Still, she wouldn't pass up the chance to change her life. "The same for me," Lotte said firmly, devoid of any hesitation.
