All echoing my own sentiments. As entertaining as it was, it seemed more bent on becoming a fan-service; they made it clear through their snippets that Goku was gonna jump back in eventually, and it seemed that everything else in the typical DBZ format was going to run through. 

But I do think the hinted plot has similarities to this RP idea; I mean, the (present) leader of the antagonists looked very similar to a second form Frieza, to me anyways.
