I might make him Poseidon, because he's known for horses in the first place, and the crashing waves of the ocean are supposed to be his "white horses". Sure he's a God and all, but I won't make him OP. I think there was a Thor in one of the various Fates, but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

Anyway, pretty sure part of the rule of Heroic spirits is that they have to be dead. The Norse Gods are weird because they can actually be killed. Greek Gods, not so much.
