Kalinda let herself simply relax, studying her friends after so long apart. It didn't seem possible that they could still be the same as they were, and yet, they were. Older. But the same. It pleased her that Hannah and Connor were together s, and she couldn't help but smile. 

She happily ate her food, Cooper still in her lap. As the pup looked up at her, she reluctantly fed him small pieces of bacon. Cooper lapped them up, and wriggled happily. She smiled, happy. 

Eventually though as they finished eating, she sighed softly, "We should probably talk about tomorrow"
