Maddox
The past two days had been relatively uneventful for Maddox. While he got to know the newest members of Phoenix Wing better, his mind was still clouded. The red-haired mage was bothered by his performance at Kabo. It was clear that he had grown weaker since joining Phoenix Wing two years ago, but he was torn on what he should do about it. On one hand he didn't need to be strong or stand out, but on the other it could cost lives in the future if he isn't in top condition. Presently he was at his apartment, sitting on the couch. Maddox still hadn't found a replacement for his destroyed jacket and was presently shirtless. As he leaned forward to rest his elbows on his knees, several large scars were visible across his back. Maddox was presently deep in thought, reflecting on recent events again. His eyes suddenly took a resolve and he stood up from his seat. After walking over to his closet and putting on a black shirt with a single white stripe, he looked towards the corkboard on his wall. I've made up my mind, he thought to himself, now turning his gaze to the window to look out across Magnolia. I won't allow myself to grow weaker any longer. I won't have any shortcomings, I won't be responsible for any failures. Maddox narrowed his eyes as he looked at the guild hall across the city.
