It is difficult to quickly change the staff's affiliation.
Skills: Some martial arts. However she is mainly best at brawling since she has never received formal training. Flirting. Use of the Cosmic Staff. Annoying her Step-Father. Holding grudges. Trash Talk. Brief Bio: Courtney was fifteen when she donned her first costume to get revenge on her step-father, Pat Dugan. She resented him for marrying her mother and moving them to Nebraska. The first costume was that of "The Star-Spangled Kid", worn by Sylvester Pemberton (Now deceased). She found his first costume which had a "cosmic converter belt". The Belt enabled her to fly, increased her strength, agility, to create solid light objects and project energy blasts. The first costume was quite different from her current one. But she had redesigned it based off her like of Yankee Poodle, a fiction character. On her first time out she told her best friend Mary what she was doing. Her Step-Father found out soon after, mainly because she couldn't keep her identity a secret. He wanted her to stop, but she wouldn't. She continued on and had a decent career. Even though her Step-father insisted on accompanying her. However once she was gifted the Cosmic Staff by Starman (Jack Knight) her step-father decided that having her in Young Justice would teach her responsibility. Notes: She feels slighted at being included in Young Justice since she did a decent job being a solo hero. She also has braces and pretty much everyone knows her secret identity (in the superhero community and her home town).
