Sasha Sasha sighed softly. While she didn't like killing, she supposed sometimes, there just wasn't any way out of it. It still made her feel...saddened. That a life could be taken so quickly, it just seemed...sad. She leaned back slightly, looking up at the sky. "Sometimes, things just...are how they are meant to be. You're meant to be in the guild, Mayt. And thats that. Without you, I don't think we would have done so well the other day. And after everything, t still frustrates me that we have heard nothing of our Wes. I hope we hear something soon. I'd hate to go back to the guildd without him" Penny Penny stared at Sayuri. Then she sshrugged. "Alright then. I don't like sharing things about my past, so forgive me if I don't go there" Do not go there yourself. Do. Not. Go. There But it was too late, even thinking about it for that brief few seconds had caused memories to surface. Her whole body shuddered, and her eyes would appear to be distant. Flash Back The little three year old girl ran down the stairs eagerly. Today was a special day. It was her birthday, and she anticipated great happiness. As she reached the landing, she was laughing, as she called out "mama! Papa!" in a little child-like, girl voice. She turned the corner, into the kitchen, but skidded to a halt as she heard sounds of yelling. "No, no! Jacob, please, no!" She recognised her mothers voice, but it was the fear in it that sent the girl into hiding, as she crawled into a cupboard, shutting the door behind her. But the darkness just made everything worse, and she shuddered, shivering with fright. "I have to, Mary. It's the only way you'll learn!" Screams seemed to echo from all around the little girl. "P-p-penny, Jacob, stop. She'll be down so-" the rest of the sentence was cut off in a gurgling scream. Penny whimpered, and curled into a tight ball. As her mothers screams steadily got worse, and then died off, she stayed where she was, shuddering. She tried not to make a sound as she heard the heavy foot falls of her fathers tread, but she was only three, and so, so scared. She whimpered, and flinched back, knocking pots together. Her fathers footsteps stopped, and light bloomed in the cupboard as he opened it. "You no good, sneaking, evesdropper!" as she was dragged out the cupboard, Penny let out an ear splitting scream, but it was too late. End Flash back As the abuse steadily got worse over the years, Penny dreaded even going home. She was ten when her magic first manifested, ten, and knew she was adopted. She knew her adoptive parents didn't have a shread of magic, and her father feared it. So Penny learned in secret, and by the time she was 11, was able to threaten him with it. Life steadily got better. Until he murdered her mother. So Penny ran away from home. She came back to herself, dropping her head in her hands. "Please don't ask me about it" her voice was soft, and void of any emotion. Master Jamie As Master Jamie headed in, he heard a Lacrima go off, and looked over to the bar, just as a tattered piece of paper appeared. She went over to it, and read the hastily written message, with what appeared to be blood on it. "Rouge Mage. Destroyed the tarven. Help" The name of the tarven was there, sprawled on the stationary item in fancy words. Jamie sighed heavily, and called out "Everyone! There's a out of control magician in the city!"
