[Damian] Damian was just coming inside the guild hall, his personal training and spell testing done, when he heard Master Jamie call out about the rogue mage. Knowing he wouldn't be the only one reacting, he didn't wait, passing through the guild hall and moving out the front door in a blur. As he ran, one of his blades formed along the ground and he jumped on it, riding it up above the roof tops. The smoke was hard to miss and he set out towards that, jumping onto a nearby roof and running across them instead of using the Striker Blade, though he didn't dismiss it. He could use it in case there was a fight. Clearing one of the roof top ledges, he used the wall to reach the ground, ramming a Hermes Blade into it to control his descent. When he hit the ground he rushed forward, barely hearing the call of an attack in time. "Lightning God's Bellow!" He dove to the right, but recognized the voice and the attack. It was the Lightening God Slayer he'd encountered a few days prior to the attack on the Counsel. Rather than waste time with banter, he unleashed a spell of his own. "Tri Blade strike!" He slashed once and three blades flew out, converging from three different directions on the location he'd heard the voice come from. He remained on guard though, look around and realizing the dust that had been kicked up was a good cover for her. A lilting laugh from his left told him he'd probably missed. "Is that the best the Blade of Phoenix Wing can do? A paltry trick? I'm disappointed. Maybe one of your guildmates would make a better toy." Damian growled, and shot of a Piercing Blade to his left, then his right and in front of him. He didn't think he'd connected, but he stayed alert. Where did you go... [James] James looked up in bewilderment when the piece of parchment appeared without warning. "What in the world is-" He was cut short by Master Jamie calling out about a rogue mage in the city. He saw Damian bolt for the front door and knew that this was serious. He stood and followed, stopping at the sight of the smoke and dust from what looked like a fallen building. Looking back and making sure the others in the hall would be behind him, and seeing the flurry of movement, he took off at a sprint towards the smoke, drawing his sword as he ran and placing his shield on his arm. It was time for Phoenix Wing to prove they were the protectors of Magnolia as Fairy Tail had been before them.
