People certainly are quick when they're trouble around, even if they don't have speed-enhancing magic! Six people (Amaya, Ariel, Fleo, Felix, Karn, and Nolan, not to mention Jamie, whose 'striding forth' seems to cover half of Magnolia) against Lucas (a B-level wizard) doesn't sound like very much fun. Two people would have been more than sufficient for this sort of situation. Kinda makes me realize how starved for action we are. Is it possible to have more than one character?
Well, to be fair, they don't know how powerful he is. They just were told a rogue wizard was destroying a tavern. For all they knew, could be some asshole from the counsel or whatever enemy they made. And some characters just happened to be around at the time and heard them ruckus. Plus, taverns are usually quite populated. It isn't only fighting they have to worry about, it's making sure citizens are okay. Hard to do both when it's just two people if its a powerful wizard they are up against. I wanted Karn to ask some others if they wanted to go on a job, but it would be out of character if he didn't jump in to help potential people in danger.
