PIPER BABINSKI

Piper smiled at the duo, sticking her hands into her leather jacket’s pockets. Lupe and Diego – brother and sister, she assumed. Her hands sweated from the leather and she reluctantly removed them from her jacket, despite losing a slight cool factor. “Great to meet you, Lupe.” Piper smirked, leaning on her left leg. “And you, too, Diego.” It was always great to meet a guy, after all. Piper cocked her head to the side and wondered if she should bother sleeping with Diego or not. Lupe seemed pretty cool and if Piper slept with Diego, then any chances of Lupe being her friend go bye-bye. But on the other hand, Piper needs somebody to sate her libido. The blonde gave Diego a once over and then Lupe – it was clear that Lupe wins. With that in mind, Piper turns all of her attention to the girl. “I guess you can say it was your pretty face.” Piper shrugs, her hands squeezing into her pants’ pockets again. She always hated having her hands exposed to the air – it just felt wrong. “And boredom – boredom was a huge factor. There’s nothing to do on this god forsaken boat.” “So, is this your first year here? Where’d you come from?”

SAWYER BABINSKI

Reading was great and all, but after awhile, it becomes dreadfully boring. Sawyer sighs through her nose and throws the magazine to god-knows-where, she’ll find it later. Standing up, she approaches the railing of the boat and leans over slightly, glancing down at the murky depths below her. The water collides with the boat, pushing off and swishing away. The redhead wondered what it would be like to be free like water, just flowing and moving with no responsibility, no thoughts. Must be great. Man, what is she thinking? How depressing. Sawyer grabs the railing and leans backwards. Piper would certainly admonish her if she saw her. She can hear her now: ‘Stop your stupid sulking, Sawyer. Oh, alliteration!’ Sawyer breathes a laugh and moves away from the railing, scanning the boat’s group of people – meta-humans, she reminds herself. Her eyes drift over Piper and her new friends – might as well. Sauntering towards the trio, she arrives to Piper’s side and can’t help but fiddle with her fingers in her lap. “Playing nice?” Sawyer mutters when Piper doesn’t notice her and Piper gives her annoyed side-glance. Sawyer smiles awkwardly at the two in front of her. “Guys, this is my annoyingly brood-y sister, Sawyer.” Piper introduces, smacking Sawyer in the stomach with a manicured, pale hand. “I don’t brood that much.” She denies easily, frowning. “I think.”
